In the night air..

Top: Vintage Skirt: Asos Shoes: Reiss Bag: Zara Necklace: Bulter and Wilson It was one of my dearest friends birthday yesterday so I went to visit her for a girly evening in Liverpool. I love Liverpool, it is so lively and you cannot help but admire the women and their ability to maintain such high levels of glamour no matter the hour of the morning! I have had an urge to don this lime green and purple get up for quite some time, but had to figure out how I was going to execute it without looking like a ribeana berry, Decided to throw on a massive necklace and a hint of snakeskin into the mix to throw off the blackcurrent-esk scent. This bag is beautiful. It is like a leather and suede dream - I am aware they are practically one and the same, but I have to make a point of the textures and how they add that extra bit of luxury. I am trying to figure out how I am going to break the news to my boyfriend that there are two other men in my life, Butler and Wilson- I cannot seem to take this necklace off, it just goes with everything and instantly lifts even the most plain of outfits. May need to invest in some garments to hide the hump I will no doubt acquire from wearing it.

The impossibly stylish, Kate Shillingford last week married her partner, Alex Dromgoole, at Greenwich's Eltham Palace, in a custom Gareth Pugh dress- sporting candy pink hair that set off the pale grey and vintage inspired gown- it is so very ornate that it reminds me of Tudor style intricacy and grandeur with a Gothic twist. Kate looks breath taking and the historic references to the romantic connotations just reflect her unique take on fashion and style when channeling a feeling or emotion.. love can be beautiful and oh so delicate.

Walking on sunshine...

Blazer: Zara Skirt:Zara Shirt: Zara Shoes: Christian Louboutin Bag: Jocasi Necklace: Butler and Wilson I decided to bring out the big guns in a bid to urge the weather to get better.. Sunshine yellow is the only colour that seemed appropriate for this mammoth task. And it worked!! (well, for the ten minute interval that these photographs were taken in) The necklace is a firm favourite of mine, feels like I have four bike chains around my neck and I walk a bit like Mr Smithers in it, but I sacrifice the neck cramp for the beauty. I have had these lime green Louboutins for a couple of years and only wore them a handful of times, always forget how much I love them! I am not one for matching accessories normally, I find it too contrived, but in this instance it felt like the only way to go.

Blue moon, I saw you standing alone...

The way in which they can give the most simple of outfits an air of casual distinguish, whether it be on a man or on a woman- Blue is true. The top outfit is everything I want in my life for Autumn... maroon, navy and metallic, she read my mind.

Strike a pose...

Must take a moment to gush over the impossibly inspirational Zuzanna Bijoch. At just 16, this Polish beauty has featured heavily in Fall 2011 fashion week opening at the Rue du Mail show, she also walked for Topshop Unique, Gucci Giambattista Valli and Marni. She has the heavy eye lids which urge me to think of Eva Green, and the kind of regal beauty that has been lost as of late.

Porenza Schouler AW/11 ad Campaign

(images via stylebistro.com) I have already blogged about the Porenza Schouler fall 2011 line here but I could not resist giving Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough an honorable mention for their new advertising campaign. As previously noted, the fabulous duo have led the way with Aztec, Tribal, Western boho chic (try saying that three times in a row?!) Their campaign, shot by Willy Vandeperre, sees sensational model, Zuzanna Bijoch, donning some of their most eclectic looks in perfectly structured pieces. The Shots give a nod to the 'jewel' trend with block colouring and the somewhat jejune elements to the design and colour lend perfectly to the playful prints- it reminds me of a Tetris/Pacman highbrid. It is fabulously eye catching and stirs up feelings of nostalgia whilst remaining impossibly original. Sure to stand out amongst a sea of minimalistic canvases.
