CK briefs
A little while ago I mentioned a shoot I had styled for the amazingly talented Chris Davis with the fantastic Deano- well the shots we took made their way to Calvin Klein and he has been called for a casting for their new campaign- whoop! I came away from that shoot on such a high, I just knew we had some magic in the bag!
So enjoy the shots and look out for Deano coming to an underwear ad near you!!
Clothing supplied by 'Urban Celebrity'
perfect pieces.
Top- Mango
Trousers-Zara
Shoes- Converse
Bag- Milan
Watch- Vintage
Sunglasses- Rayban
Meet my 'off duty' look- I say that like I have some sort of massively important day-to-day job. Just for the record. I don't.
With the remnants of my post-travel tan hanging on with all its might!
Enjoying my time off immensely, being a student gives you quite a few months to play with in the 'summer' and we have had some fantastic weather here- beach days, castle/garden walks and park lunches have ensued!
This bag I got from Milan in the train station- I swear I can sniff out a well put together leather bag in a rubbish tip- It is everything I have been looking for, and failing miserably, for about 9 months- soft leather, over sized, clutch, and a sort of cream/stone/nothingness colour.
This T-shirt is one of those items you have had forever and have almost thrown out during every seasonal wardrobe change but held on to it due to it's comfort/ease/versatility.(excess slashes today, not good for those who skim the text)
Have a couple of birthday parties this weekend, both themed, first- America, stars and stripes... will keep you updated on that.

Show me your model face
So the 'work' continues: Styled a shoot with an amazing model- Adam Cowie of Storm models- and photographer extraurdinare, Chris Davis of Specular.
I promise I did put some clothes on Adam, I like to do this thing with males models where I dress them as their being shot, that way you get body shots and natural ones as they clothe up (not just some seedy way of checking out their bods- I am a happily spoken for woman- although I could have harder 'jobs' ;)
Adam was very inspiring, fantastic mover and so, so natural. I went for a European feel on most of the shots- shirts, blazers, ties, pocket square- maybe loosely inspired by my recent tryst with Italy- along with a few more casual in light weight knits and leather jackets.
'Urban Celebrity' was the main culprit in the lending of the garmz- they have just opened a new shop in Newcastle city centre and some of their stuff is just outstanding!!!
Shall put up the rest of the shots once they're finished and edited.

Girls run the world- Versace for H&M
Donatella donning a dress from her collection at Milan fashion week.
Another big hitter collaborating with high street heavyweight H&M (A bit of alliteration for you there) Despite Donatlla previously stating that, by collaborating with high street brands it sends the wrong message to the luxury brands consumers, it seems the winds of change hit her in the midst of a recession (the success of former collaborator- Jimmy choo, Stella McCartney, Karl Largerfield and Lanvin may of had some influence in her decision)
The collection will be a few key pieces of clothing, shoes and lifestyle- paying homage to the brands original identity- so expect leather, colour prints and studs to be rocked.
If H&M's other collaborations are anything to go by then the range looks to be sold out within hours of its launch on November 19th- elbows at the ready girls!
Collaborations like this are integral to the fashion industry; it opens up the brand to a whole new demographic- something that is so important with the ever-expanding influenece 'ordinary joes' have on public domain's, blogs etc.. plus it gives us mere mortals a chance to own a piece of designer clothing on a budget- I say budget, still a good chunk of your monthly wadge packet- but it's a piece of history, an investment, a one off that will lend itself to your wardrobe like a piece of art .... I can go all day with these justifications.

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Finally become savvy to the 'blog lovin' game- follow me on there too :) xx
Philo fantasy- Celine resort 2012
My obsession with Pheobe Philo is well documented on this blog. This collection instantly made me go weak at the knees. Keeping the same clean lines Philo is famed for but adding extra, unexpected details and prints. Love the structured coats and the length of those floral trousers are all kinds of perfect.

Treasures.
Few things in life are as precious as the relationships you have with loved ones. Never let them waver and always make sure they know how you feel <3
So chic, unique...
Some street style photos from Milano.. We literally spent two hours sat outside the Cathedral just watching the beautiful people go by! Only reason we left is because we got caught in a freak flash thunderstorm!
The older men seem to have a uniform- a chino or tapered trouser, shirt and jacket- always with a pocket square and trouser length just above the ankle, complete with no socks and loafers, its so simple, effortless and just looks beautiful. It's all in the details. British men: take note.
